The Cowichan Valley ATV Club is an affiliate of the Provincial ATV association, ATVBC. There are four other ATV clubs on Vancouver Island (Alberni Valley Hill Climbers, Ladysmith, Nanaimo/Mid-Island ATV Club, Comox Valley ATV Club, and Campbell River ATV Club) and 28 other ATV Clubs on the mainland. Together we form an organization that meets regularly to ride ATVs and organize other related events. This provides a forum for social interaction between like-minded outdoor enthusiasts. CVATV has 149 members from a South Island area that encompasses Victoria, Sooke, Saanich and the Cowichan Valley to Ladysmith

We are striving to promote our sport in our local communities as a responsible, fun, safe, and challenging recreation that is suitable for almost anyone. Our goal is education of the public and other riders about the fun of ATV riding in a safe and environmentally diligent manner. We as a Club are united in our approach to private landowners and government leaders in attempting to gain ATV access to private/restricted lands and promote sustainability of the ‘sport’ for Members and future generations.

Note: As of Nov 1, 2015 you must have a licence plate on you ATV/UTV and be insured to go on any club sponsored rides.
